Info for anyone interested!
Our Hymer went in for a new timing belt the other day.
Quite a bit of foods in fridge but I hoped it would be ok for 3-4 hours!
Dropped the van off at 9 am, we called them after lunch in hopes of an early departure but wrong belt ordered & they’re waiting for replacement, estimated 4pm.
Oh well, there goes the ‘freezer’ stuff I thought, not much in there really, peas, chopped peppers, ice cubes, and some meatballs!
4pm collected van and fridge still a little cool and freezer foods were still solid!
Very impressed, 6 hours with no power to fridge but it was in a cool garage area!
