What is needed is more competition on the Eastern Channel, not less.

I know about the risk to jobs etc but this was never fair. The solution is to move to a different route at a guess

why well done ? i used that company and i had a very cheap and great crossing at a fraction of the price p&o was trying to charge me

P&O and DFDS are not on a level playing field when trying to compete etc.

Do you remember when the channel tunnel was first proposed it was stated nobody would pay the price they would have to charge to cross the channel. Now it is stated Eurotunnel will have a too bigger monopoly because they bought 3 ships from a company going out of business.

Now was that the media that hyped that first statement that has been proved so spectacularly wrong?
