Rally 'Music & Mechanicals' meet 1st - 4th July 2016 - Bubble Car Museum, Nr Langrick, South Lincs (1 Viewer)

May have to go + have a nosey do a recce, we went to the farm shop to pick up a gas bottle + have seen tesco, b+M, maplins, downton + the pub...but not the restaurant... All about 10-15 mins walk.

No such luck Anthea. Lunch back at the MH consisted of a cheese roll, and a bottle of Weissbeir.

We've done the same recce as @Debs. I phoned the local bus operator Brylaine yesterday, and Rita has a note of bus times into Boston, and on our recce, we've sussed out where the nearest bus stops are.

We've also got menus from the pub/Lounge known as Merrimans, should anyone want to dine there, but table bookings are filling up fast...............apparently.

Apart from a bit of a good breeze, it's okay here.

A big back of Scottish delicasies arrived, care of @irnbru (Sandra & Jean). Thank you both very much.

Oh yes, and my mobile internet is whizzing along here on T Mobile (EE).

Yes, one minute full 4G,then nothing, then it comes back. I suspect they may be working on the local equipment. There wasn't supposed to be much coverage at all here, but when it working, it's very good.

Today is best described as breezy. It's making these little planes wobble about a bit on take off! Sun is shining though - for now.

Funsters all assembled - except for @triclops - hope they are ok, or have I missed a cancellation post somewhere? Can't find one, so I hope all is ok with them. We now await a further influx of local musicians this afternoon to complete the party. It is threatening to rain just about the time we had planned to be dancing on the grass, so plans are fluid - probably literally! Like the music, we will play it by ear.

TBH, I'd be happy to come back here, as they have been so accommodating and friendly, and it's handy for "some" local amenities.
