Probably one for Murvi owners…..or maybe Auto-Sleeper owners too….

I’m interested in buying a Murvi and have noticed that their fresh water tanks are 72 litres and waste tanks are 40 litres. Mine are currently 80 litres and 92 respectively and I’m wondering how Murvi owners get on with what seems to be a limited size of tank? Not quite so worried about the fresh water tank size as it’s not that much less, I guess, but the waste tank seems really small. Do you carry spare waste tanks and collapsible fresh water tanks around with you?

I mentioned AS van owners too as it seems their tanks are on the small side too..?

You adapt to the size and space you've got.
In the Bongo we had 2 x 12l water bottles and a 5l and 10l rollup waste. seperate container for the shower, Never a problem. more of a problem is the Rapido says its 100l but never got more than 70l in there except when it overflowed onto the floor, waste again supposed to be 90l actual unknown.

Our Autosleeper Rienza is 60 litre fresh and 50 ltire grey tank. I have thought of extending the size of the tanks but it would mean a lot of work to alter both tank sizes.
The simple cure is to carry a 20 litre fresh water container and a 20 litre waste container. Not the ideal solution unless you have the storage space to carry them. It means we can manage an extra night off grid meaning we only needs to use site facilities every three days.

We have 100L fresh and 90L grey and have never had a problem. I carry a 10L jerry can for filling the water up so I know roughy how much is in the tank rather than using a hose and going by the onboard gauge. Your issue will be black waste, our thetford cassette lasts 3 days 4 if were out more. Also when on a site or Aire when I empty the black cassette I then drain the grey into the empty cassette to give it a clean if there’s no dedicated service point.

TBF 100 litres of fresh and 90 litres of grey are pretty good - similar to what I currently have and don’t have a problem with. But yes, the toilet cassette needs emptying regularly when in ‘full’ use…

Depends how you tend to use your motorhome we have 130,l fresh and 100 l waste I wouldn't fancy going to half that.

Never had a problem, when it's full you empty it, when it's empty you fill it. It all depends how you use your PVC and how many there is of you?
(When one has lived in a 3 bed house and moves to a Bungalow, one has to make changes, expect the same with M/H's)

Those tanks are very small our last van only had a small 100 Lt tank I used to carry 2 x 20 Lt containers as well.
A friend had a PVC that only had a 60 Lt tank he fitted a 2nd tank it wasn't a difficult job but it was underslung so no good in the winter.

The Truma holds 20L too so could be pre filled to save it stealing 20L of beloved fresh 😍
