When I used to tour in my LHD 1989 VW 'Westfalia, I boxed it in with a cushioned top and lift-off plywood surround and used mine as an extra seat just inside the sliding door.
At night, swing the passenger seat around and use the boxed in toilet as a feet-up leg-rest while I had a beer out of the fridge. :giggle:

Yes it would be ok boxed but to use the toilet bare just seems a bit strange to me but then it could be me that’s strange.😊

Have you seen this happening then, most PVC's have a 'proper' toilet, what are they doing with a Porta Potty?

Many home build and manufacturer made small vans don’t have in built toilet facilities. Portapotiie in my doblo is in the storage under the bed. Have yet to make a door to get it out though 🤣🤣🤣

So it will be able to act as a commode when the time comes.
