Hi we have just been told of a company who refurbish batteries of all types, including electric bike batteries. The cost is minimal compared with buying a new battery and the person who told me was very pleased with their service.

The website is multicell.co.uk and they are based in Leicestershire.

It is good to have a comparison, apparently they can refurbish laptop batteries as well, so I am going to contact them as soon as we get home.

Our friend made the point that you can't always buy the correct battery - if the company has gone bust - so being able to refurbish your own battery is a good alternative.
