muddy muddy muddy paws, has anyone got any good tips how to clean them, other than wet wipes, which don't always work.
Do you just shower them off?
Is there enough water in the tank to do this?

:thanks3: for your suggestions

Laika the wonder dog is a 6.2 kg and she soaks up all the mud up her legs and onto her stomach. We installed a outside shower point , which I found useless in cleaning the mud off.
I just hold her under the tap which works well for her. A bowl of water sounds a good idea but this all depends on the weather . If its raining then tap wash , towel, then basket for her.

And the size of the dog! we dip our shih-tzu in the sink and wash his feet/paws.

My dog barely fits in the van, never mind in the sink :)

I go everywhere with one of these, find it invaluable!

Any garden weed / sprayer would do the job (y)

Sounds a small dog then.

If your van has carpets, remove them, then nothing to worry about..

we have two terrier, carpets removed, the vinyl floor is easy kept clean.

have just fitted an external Bullfinch shower which will be useful

You mean they don't jump on the seats?

Similar idea, I've just got one of these from Amazon (less space in a PVC), only £6, and should be trying it out on the dog soon. Also handy for flushing the loo to save water.

At 30kg it’s impossible to pick my dogs up and put them in the sink! I use an old washing up bowl, microfibre towel and put Scruffs Noodle mats on the floor.

We find the carpets, seat upholstery and curtains are very good at cleaning dirty paws......................................:ROFLMAO:

...a very clean Kerry paw - after full on Zoomie around a somewhat muddy garden...

Can't say she's ecstatic about the process, but she tolerates it very well, especially if the water is warm...

I haunt the charity shops buy towels, cut them into a good 4 paw wipe square , squash them down into Ziploc bags to save space. Damp the square wipe/clean the paws and dump the muddy cloth when it cannot be useful any more.saves washing towels. Little cost and can I just note ...well trialled for success as I have a x beardie wolfhound.hairy great paws, hairy great everything! Best travelling companion ever

Little b----r has just been out in the garden, apparently trying to chase a mouse or something. Came back in and jumped straight onto one of our nice cream coloured chairs.:mad:

Good job they've got covers on!
