We haven’t tried the one you’re asking about, but we bought this one to use this year after reading good reviews. Due to the current situation, we haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but it‘s in the van ready for ready for action when we do.

I have a Thermacell MR300 and it’s ok for close proximity tbf.
The little sods love me but never touch Kel.
I do have an array of deterrents though.
I bought one from America that uses black light and I also hang up a zapper that you see in the cake shop.
I only need these at lower altitudes though, Italy and the like.
We normally spend time at Annecy and around the alpine regions and try to get some altitude as the little buggers don’t live up there.

Low tech citronella tealights worked for us.

Smidge works 👍 Just noticed they say it’s the uk’s no1 all I can say is if you do get bitten use this and you shouldn’t get bitten again.

We have those, got 2, pop one in the bed area in the evening and leave them both on if out and about when asleep pop one or both in the lounge. It does work as a mozzy killer but not the genocide we all wish for, as a light they are great👍

As far as i know mozzies are attracted by carbon dioxide from your breath, if you are sat next to a heavy smoker you get mobbed and they get away scot free, maybe nicatine in the blood helps who knows. Bill

I have ordered a thermocell backpacker as its got good reviews.
Dont want to put stuff on my skin dont like suncream or oil products on me never have.

Will let you all know if it wotks

Works just as good as other Thermacell systems. With the exception that the backpacker has a large gas cartridge which won't run empty if you forget it on for the whole night :-)

I must stop shaving my legs and other parts
Oooohhh Matron, can you take away the pain but leave the swelling please ...🙄
