I am also in the mozzie magnet brigade. Had tried various thing over the years without success i.e. garlic tabs, quinine (drink loads of G&T), creams and spays etc. Then, a couple of years ago I started supplementing the garlic tabs with Vitamin B1. I also use Bens Insect Wipes and too be honest, I have only been bitten once or twice since. Just FYI, when I do get bitten(as I said, not very often now), I use a little electronic zapper on the bite followed by rubbing in some tiger balm and what a difference. Makes a change from spending my holiday full of unsightly weals/wheals covering my whole body. I have used this combination for a couple of years now with great success so I aint changing the routine other than adding some jungle formula now and again. GOOD LUCK!! (y)

Avon Skin so Soft is good, but seems to have a lifespan. I took an unopened year old bottle to the south of France last year and got bitten to death. Switched to Autan, never got another bite.

Skin so soft has not always worked for me but I have it just as an after shower spray since I hate smothering myself in Deet all the time . We did buy a battery operated Lifesystems gizmo from Go Outdoors which we used on our winter Florida and Bahama cruise and had very few bites . I did actually place it quite near an insect on a porthole and the insect started to stagger around and finally died ....so it must work . We are taking two more in the van since I am a mozzie magnet .
