MOTORHOMING IN AFRICA?

I really don't think European motorhomes are capable of touring most of Africa. You see plenty of overland expedition type vehicles that have apparently done it. But they are very rugged and even then get damaged. Road tyres are ok in towns and cities within reason but there is no motorway network and some dirt roads you can drive for hours without seeing anyone else

Obviously the North African countries like Morroco are accessible with care, but sub-saharan countries are a different story. My friends go out to Uganda on charity work most years and the videos, pictures and stories are eye opening

Lots of stuff on YouTube. Mostly German, all big money! £300,000+
