The trouble is that now they have stopped longer vehicles parking at all and have provided just 8 spaces at the other carpark for all MH visitors. I think I would rather pay for 2 tickets and have the choice of parking or not.

A case of "be careful what you wish for"? Correct appeal decision and a not unreasonable clarification of the rules by the council to avoid further misunderstandings. Not really a story but I guess it got Reach plc a few online clicks . . . mine included.

lost count the number of times I have had to get and display 2 tickets for 2 parking bays in numerous car parks throughout..
... though only a couple of squids here and there over what would normally pay, suppose it adds up up over time..

Many places do not allow overhanging ink a second bay and paying for 2 tickets.
In Bear Street Barnstaple there are 3 large vehicle spaces and they specifically state buying 2 tickets is prohibited.
