Does the quoted width of a van include mirrors or not?
In particular, the Hymer Exsis-i range, quoted at 2.22m but I have also seen 2.14m. Is one with and one without mirrors?

Sorry, can’t answer for Hymer but all my motorhome owners handbooks have quoted width with, and without, mirrors.

If you don’t have a handbook you should be able to find the required info on line.

The difference you have there wouldn't be the mirrors as they'd be far larger than that . As @mikebeaches said normal is without

I measured the Exsis T on Tuesday, with mirrors its 2.7, which is good as our garage is 2.75!

The difference certainly won't be mirrors.
The difference is only 10cm...or 4 inchs. Even the mirrors minus mounting arms will be more than 2 inchs each.

It will be wheel arch trim and bumper ends etc.

You should know better Alan you had one.

2.14 is the body width, 2.22 is the total body width with wheel arches and other bits that stick out. Mirrors are not included, they add another 0.35 to 0.5m depending how they are set. Vehicle dimensions never include mirrors.

Yeh had a bad day brain not in gear never mind

Just measured our N+B Arto(2003) and the body width is 2.2m but with sticky-out bits such as wheel arches and lights is more like 2.3m

Then doing morror tip to mirror tip it comes to a tad under 2.7m - one mirroe is slightly less from the body due to its adjustment.

I will use 3m as a guide for any narrow road as it is not always possible for the MH and the road to be dead straight.

As I said to Lenny must have had bad day brain not working could not have been a bad hair day as I haven’t got much
I have posted a picture of the sticker inside the old van at 2.412 m and I’m not 100% sure that was correct now but the mirrors are angled so could be somewhere near, I never hit anything so must be some where near.
