I'm a newbie
After 20 years of towiing tourers have taken the leap to a MH. I have a AC Stardream and been out once so far.

Initial impressions are that getting underway and motoring around is a doddle, cf towing, but realised the importance of choosing the site/pitch - only had a couple of low ramps which just about did the job on a, relatively, level pitch at Cherry Hinton. Now bought a pair of Milenco triple ramps!
Also realised that for longer stays will need to maintain the ability to top up FW and get rid of waste - thought I could get rid of aqua roll and wastemaster!

Expect I will be seeking lots of advice in near future.

Hi

Welcome to MH Fun.:welcome:

Don't forget your tugging It was experience learned the hard way, and still useful.

I carry a watering can and bucket, a bit more manageable than aqua-roll and wastemaster.

Enjoy your new experience, best of luck.

Hi and welcome

Like you had caravan for a while before mh. For the fw we have a water container and a 12v pump this can be plugged into van socket and pump water into tank rather than try and pour 25l of water via funnel. As for waste we have a small fold down 5l water carrier we stick waste pipe into this and empty when required or when on way to toilet block saves waiting till tank is full and having to drive van to waste point.

A warm welcome, submariner!

Another ancient mariner, mmm, we'll have some fun with that. Anyway, congrats on keeping some of your virginity on a sub, I was under the impression from my time in Chatham that you were all pretty busy below the waves...
