Motorhome tyres

Hi getting the van, Bessacarr E435 ready for our up and coming trip down to Somerset. As its been laid up for almost 9 months sitting on our drive, just wondering if it would pay me to get my tyres checked out for any possible damage. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for Van tyres within the Coventry/ Warwick area. Thanks

How old are they? Have a look for any cracking and if you are not happy just change them anyway, you will enjoy the trip more when you are not worrying about the tyres.

If they are Michelin cracking side walls are now a standard feature. Thoroughly go over them and choose replacements carefully. Michelin have now become an expensive poor quality brand.

When checking tyres for cracking, don’t forget to check in the base of the tread as well.

Yes get them check otherwise you may be caught near Taunton where the DVSA and Police are stopping 100s of caravans and Motorhomes for this very reason. It’s been reported that 40% of those stopped are faulty.
