Hi all,

I have a Weinsberg Carasuite 650MF (on a Ducato base) and have approached a dealer for a replacement part. He’s asked me to take some pictures if the item and to quote him the Weinsberg Serial Number (not the Fiat VIN so that he can get more detailed information about my vehicle.

The V5 quotes the Fiat VIN and the serial number in the front windscreeen is also the Fiat one. Does anyone know where the Weinsberg Serial Number would be?

If I don’t get an answer from you peeps tonight, I can ask him tomorrow and leave it another day.

Thanks in advance

it may be at the top of the Weinsberg weight plate above the stated weights

Hi Phill D,

Do you know where the weight plate would be? I’ve owned the vehicle since last summer and thought i knew it inside out but have never seen it??

possibly on the bonnet slam panel ( where the bonnet catch fits in..) there is likely the chassis plate and the Weinsberg weight plate , you obviously need the Weinsberg weight plate

Some Van's have it near the habitation door.
My Autotrail did and my current Burstner plate is also just inside the door.

It was exactly where Phill D said it would be.

Now to find out how much the lower part of the turning table is going to cost me

Although the wife should be paying as it was her idea to set up a camping stove on the table to make her silver jewellery in the van last weekend. And to think I was once precious over muddy shoes....she now wants to use it as a workshop....time to hide the second set of keys me thinks....or clear out the shed ? Thanks again - it’s good to know help is out there.
