Evening everyone, does anyone know if a padlock type lock can be fitted to the steering column uv joint of a fiat ducato motorhome,if so which type of lock an how. Thanks

Dont know but would you want to risk damage to the joint over time

If you do a search, we have discussed security many times. The padlock on the steering UJ has not come up though. Personally I use a pedal lock, a wheel clamp, lock the seat in a swivelled direction and have relocated the OBD port to a locked steel box. On my other van, I have a steering wheel cover (disklok) and a pedal lock

There are loads of alternative Ducato locks and I think the best type are the ones that are obvious and easily seen.

Whatever you fit, is only a deterrent to slow them down. The more visible the better as they will usually try something easier
