Motorhome road tax.

Hi all
Does anyone on here understand the new motorhome road tax? I am thinking of purchasing a new 2019 motorhome unregistered, but I understand the government has done a u turn in this years budget, so what will be the first years tax on this vehicle and then years after?

Think the new ved is on hold for now and won't apply to motorhomes

Current rates are £165 for HPG & £265 for PLG and they will continue at the same rate for the life of the vehicle apart from inflationary budget increases.

For new vehicle registered from next April (2021) VED will be based on C02 emission as cars are but the luxury vehicle tax will not be applied.
