My toad is always filthy and covered in road crap when it rains. Has anybody fitted a rear skirt to the back bumper? Do they protect the toad or are they a waste of time. They say they are easy to fit would that be right? I notice that John Cross is advertising some on Ebay.

Thoughts and advice please. Many thanks.

I had them on all 3 of my R-V`s. (like a big brush or grass skirt, hanging down!) They do reduce the C-R-A-P a bit, but not entirely.

We have one on ours which was fitted by the previous owners. People often ask why its there and I usually joke so I can claim the council for brushing the street.

Isn't there a "car bra" you can buy that covers the front half of the toad?

I saw one about 6-8 months ago on a Smart car being towed on the A30.

Could it have been a one off/specially made?

Towbars2Towcars, at Grimsby supply these for various cars ... I considered one for our Peugeot 108 but feel it could cause more damage to the paintwork unless the car is spotlessly clean.
