I’ve looked at past threads but not found a clear answer.
Does anyone know where I can park for the day in Bridlington. Don’t mind a short walk into town. Do not wish to stay overnight.
Van 6.9 metres. It looks like the big coach /van park at Hilderthorpe Road is no more??
Thanks.

Looking at google maps Limekiln Lane has a large car/coach park for long stay if thats any help.

You can park a motorhome at the Wilsthorpe park and ride, just outside Brid. You need to call the number on the park and ride sign board and someone will come and unlock the barrier for you. Included in the park and ride ticket is a free return bus ride for 5 persons to Brid. Or its a nice walk along the seafront prom.

The park and ride carpark is well signposted, seems a long drive out to it but its really close to Brid along the prom. (y)

Thank you.
The coach park is coaches only.
The car park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.
The search continues! :giggle:

There was telephone number on the gate to phone the warden - he will come and open the height barrier.

I wouldn't bother. It's a horrible town. Full of tat
Speak your mind!!! :LOL::LOL:;)
Strangely we quite like “tat” sometimes! We live in a very rural location, seldom go into a town, even less so a large town or city,so it’s a bit of a novelty. Some tat is even funny.
I do believe we may find something interesting or attractive in with the tat!

You ain't seen tat till you have done Blackpool!
The illuminations are now switched on in Blackpool. (y)
But no parking of motor homes along the prom road. (n)
Several car parks however do allow overnight stops. (y)

Please park in St Annes, better class of motorhomers! ( And a lot quieter!) See sites !

I don't mean to be cruel but sadly it's just a poor northern town. Great childhood memories. However behind the veneer of harbour and seagulls are closed shops, pubs scratching a living and charity shops.
I wish I was wrong bit sadly I don't think I am.

I was born in the Avenue Hospital in Brid. We didn't live near there so I have no idea why mum went there. Never asked her so I will never know. I found a receipt from the hospital yesterday. I cost £5.19. 6d. No NHS then.

Have you been lately? I went about a month ago and apart from the amusements area it’s a lot better than it used to be .

You can park on the grass at Sewerby just near the cliff top.

I'm pretty sure I was conceived in a boarding house in Brid ;) .

To be fair no I haven't so hopefully I stand corrected.🤔

I find it a town full of fish and chip shops, lots of them. :tounge:
Yes, but not as nice as Whitby fish and chips

You missed me then. I walked the dog on the north beach end at 11-30ish. After doing a click on collect from Argos, A quick dash fond Aldi. An d back home for lunch. Much preferred to Hull which although marginally closer IS sadly full of "foreign bums and stiffs" these days. Sad demise of the City of my youth.

P.s. Large number of Motorhomes going in both directions so something is attracting them?

Assume the Park & Ride is daytime parking only?

Going there next week, but staying at my brothers beach hut near the Wilsthorpe park and ride. The dogs like the miles of sandy beach, which hopefully may be emptyish at this time of year. Not taking the motorhome which has just had a month in south France.
