    Plymouth Herald

RESIDENTS caught a hoodie-wearing teenager carrying a hammer in their motorhome late at night, a court heard.

The two people detained the 17-year-old until police arrived, Plymouth magistrates were told.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted vehicle interference and burgling a shed to steal the hammer on June 1.

He also admitted possession of 11.38 grams of cannabis which was found after his arrest.

Scott Horner, for the Crown Prosecution Service, told Plymouth Youth Court two residents heard a noise outside their home in Ladysmith Road, St Judes, at 11.30pm.

They found that the door of their motorhome, which was left unlocked in their driveway, was open.

Mr Horner added the pair found a youth inside the home wearing a white hooded top and carrying a hammer.

The court heard it was later found the hammer had been taken from their shed.

Mr Horner said the witnesses managed to detain the 17-year-old until police arrived.

He added some drugs fell from his pocket and cannabis worth £65 was found on his person and at his home.

Roger Page, for the unemployed youth, said he had no recollection of the incident. But he said the teenager immediately accepted his guilt.

Magistrates gave the teenager a 12-month Youth Rehabilitation Order under supervision of the Youth Offending Team.

He must also carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and must pay £40 costs.

Come on Lads... you can do better than that... :ROFLMAO:

    Only castration? :winky:

What about pulling out each finger nail one by one with pliers...

I know... make him run around the block holding a red hot lump of metal in his bare hands... (maybe the hammer he had nicked heated up... poetic justice hey?)

I bet the Daily M**l would publish photos of that... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Why do I doubt the drugs " fell " out of his pocket?

Just wondering if they were thrown there by someone else.?

    Wouldn't be the first time.
