Tried Caravan Guard, no good BUT LV came up trumps at only £421 with same level as Comfort so more that happy with that seeing as got 0 NCB on MoHo

Although post codes play a large part on premium. Does not take long for a quote..

I've just had a quote from SAGA for £1650...... exact same details given to Lexham and they quoted £558

Will now try some of the other recommendations....

Supplementary question: I want to have the option of various friends sometimes sharing the driving - I couldn't find a way to ask for that flexibility - sites just kept asking for details of a specific named driver.

If I speak directly to the insurance company, am I likely to be able to arrange that?

Depending on the insurer you don’t necessarily build ncb on a motorhome.

No idea but usually you can ring & add drivers for specific periods of time without problems. As long as they have a UK licence usually though.

LV and others were hopeless for us but Caravan Guard came up trumps. I think it depends on which way the wind is blowing when you get your quote. Had the same with the boat, cars and house. Will do the same ring round renewal time!

I’ve been with Caravan Guard for about 14 years with caravans and different motorhomes. Have shopped around but they are always the cheapest.
