Pilote
Currently Insured with Markerstudy for my 14 year old MH. Cost was £155 for 5000 miles.
Asked them today transfer Insurance to a new Pilote 716P and they want an additional £261 for the 87 days remaining. So effectively from £0.40 per day to over £3.00 a day to Insure. It will be fitted with an Outsmart The Thief Alarm system.
Seems like a rip off to me. Any advice or alternative Insurers that any of you could recommend please?

I can only suggest contacting as many as you can as what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. Try Saga and the Caravan Club as well as those mentioned above at least.

My MH is similar value to yours, no alarm, about £400 last year with Saga.

Sorry for last post, not finished!!!

Just renewed a 1 year old Pilote today Safeguard £720, Scenic £620, Sarga, Caravan Club £645, Comfort £284. All the same like for like. Went with Comfort up £25 on last year. How there can be such a difference is beyond me.
If you are getting your Pilote with the Gemini 931t from SMC make sure they fit all sensors.

Have been with safeguard for 2 years and been very happy. However, this year changing to camping and caravan club £200 cheaper and still maintaining new for old on our 2year old, from new motorhome. Safeguard only gave us 2 years. CC gives put to 12 months european breakdown , but alas only need it for 6 weeks maximum so reduced premium significantly
