The signal finder I thought was a great idea, the way you spliced it in.

I also liked your solution for your table, although it wasn’t suitable for our motorhome.

I was asked for the Amazon link for the TV signal finder. I noticed there are two varieties. TV & Satellite and Just TV. However, the "TV & Satellite" seems to be cheaper. Seems a bit odd. However, here is the link.

It made our life so much easier. Especially the audio as it is sometimes difficult to hold the unit while fiddling with the antenna.

Quick one for a technophobe, can I use an ordinary splitter or does it need to be similar to the one highlighted with a switch?

The problem with a regular splitter is it will half the signal strength and you would still need to remove it to get the best signal to the TV.
