Hi looking for any help please. I have a problem with battery drain. When sitting in the drive for roughly a week the leisure battery has run low and has drained the main starter battery . Everything on the panel is switched off and can’t see anything obvious . Many thanks !

Was anything left switched on?

Is your fridge a compressor fridge, or a three-way fridge?

Are you able to connect your EHU?

They should stay charged for much longer than that.
Either your batteries are failing or there is a drain from something like an alarm or immobilizer.
Do you have solar ?

Welcome to the forum.

We need a bit more background information from you to get an idea of what's going on.

How long have you had your van, is it something that has just recently happened and was okay before, do you have solar on your roof, why do you think it is the fridge?

It's unlikely that the leisure battery's low state of charge will drag down your starter battery.

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. After a couple of nights using lights and the leisure battery there was not much power drop from the leisure battery. Starter battery however went down to half charge. New starter battery being bought today.
thanks

If the van is on your drive ,its probably best to hook up to your mains then you can run anything you like on 240 v including charging up your leisure battery. You need to check if your charger also charges up your starter battery ,some don't,unless you have a battery master. Also most fridges won't run on 12 v unless the engine is running.
