I am sure the subject of extended warranty has been discussed before.
The reason I am writing this post is that my manufacturers warranty and the extra 6 months cover offered by the dealer has expired.
I have today been contacted by a company called Car Protect who have offered me 12 months warranty cover for £239. Over the phone the policy appeared to cover everything mechanical and electrical, habitation appliances, water ingress etc but obviously the devil is in the detail and I will certainly be looking at this before I make a decision.
But I just wanted to find out if many members consider extended warranty to be a must, for their own peace of mind or do they consider it a waste of money.
Look forward to your thoughts on this matter.
Cheers,
Doug.
