You can buy these for new and used Motorhomes

Are they worth buying, have they been a good investment for you?

Have you ever bought one? Would you do so again? Cheers.

I don’t normally buy extended warranties because they are just insurance and full of exceptions. I did buy the Fiat 5 years from new warranty because it not only extends the original Fiat warranty but the recovery and customer support. Saving on having to buy separate recovery service took a big chunk out of the cost of the extension.

I had a breakdown in the 3rd year and the recovery and transport to Portsmouth from Norfolk was very efficient. Adams Morey solved the Comfortmatic problem over a weekend and got me back on the road quickly. The fault turned out to be a construction mistake and was paid for by Carthago rather than Fiat so I can’t say the 5 year warranty covered the repair. However as the process of recovery and repair unfolded I felt supported and kept properly informed and I would certainly buy this particular extension again.

Never bought one, but our first van did have one as part of the deal - bought used from a dealer - and we did pay to extend it. It worked quite well for us in the event - but that may be partly because the dealer's after sales manager at the time was a former manager at the extended warranty company (MB&G) and knew how to process claims to get a result! Probably just as well - the list of exclusions was very long.

I asked our motorhome depot seller to put one on our new to us moho. He supplied one from Auto guard . Paperwork was fabulous more or less everything covered until you claimed and got the usual its a no from us.

Purchased Fiat 5 year warranty. Just had 1st claim at year 3.5.
The notorious air bag ECU failure. Replaced with no quibbles.
