The family will descend on us just after Boxing day.
We will need to sleep in the motorhome which is fortunately parked on the drive.
I really look forward to this.
It also has the advantage that we go to bed when we want to and our kids can put the grandkids to bed themselves.
Anybody else doing this.:xThumb:

We do this but the other way around. We spend Christmas in the UK but we take the motorhome from the Isle of Man. Whoever we are visiting we sleep in the van. Much for the same reasons as you :giggle:

Have the heating on for a day prior. That bed/mattress is going to need warming at this time of year.
Fortunately we go to our kids for xmas so no problem :drinks:

We’ll certainly be making use of the MH for guests.

I would never let the guests sleep in the van, thats my bed. Rather sleep in it myself, all cozy and warm, own private toilet and shower, tv etc 🎅🏼🎄👍🏻

Nobody other than me and SWMBO are allowed in our van without us 😂😂
I’ll be in it tomorrow night as we will be having the grandrats. So it’s me, 2 boys, pop (beer) and crisps and Netflix 👍👍

WE had our son and grand skids down at the weekend and done just that. about 9.00pm start yawning, ooh feeling tired, creep of to the van watch a bit of telly, all snugged up. No waking up early, happy days (y)

weve used it for loads of occasions once we went to a friends birthday in south London at a hall, we google earthed it and found you could park on the pavement outside the hall. When we left at 2am we got into the van but the hosts had to wait for a cab to get home

We are

Two of our daughters and husbands over from the Middle East. Plus daughter, husband, grandchildren & dog.

Lucky we have four bedrooms, log cabin, motorhome and caravan. Proper little venue we are.

No but we have discussed the idea but management wouldn't settle she loose "control" of the house.

As I currently have covid the other half is sleeping in the van on the drive, our plan was to use it for us when we had family here at Christmas but they have t come because of covid. It’s a perfect spare room imo

You know those moments when something just clicks...

We have been putting off saving for a downstairs toilet install as it will also mean a kitchen refurb.. aka chaos. But the camper is (usually) parked outside the house?!

How have I never put these things together in my head before? 😜

Thanks... Best get the piggy banks filled!!

It’s a long walk from the back door..and I always keep the blinds closed as it makes a great hiding place👍😜

Had Friends around over Christmas, me and her slept in motorhome, loved it all alone for once. Renewed our interest in each other.
