Try CaravanGuard. We have electric gates and kept our caravan on the drive when we had it. I did a quote for our new motorhome, and yes they would accept it no problem, at just £30 more than we each pay for our car insurance.

I fell out with Comfort after 8 trouble-free years insurance.

I wanted an adjustment to my cover reference storage and they wouldn't have it.

After 3 days on the phone, and fast losing the will to live, I finally came across a broker in Wiltshire who sorted out an underwriter that offered a fair price for what I wanted.

Safeguard are happy to insure my van whether it is in storage, or standing outside my house on the road.
