Old tech meets new. The latest thing in ebikes
They look great. We saw them last year at Motorworld Cologne. Worth a look for anyone partial to a whiff of petrol. Free entry too.

I know the white one is the Desert Sled......what’s the Black one?

Happy FLT since 2011
Another cellar built special from way back.
I named it a Wotsheon and it won a prize in the IOM that year.

I had to shorten the swinging arm the second year.
A long frame and a long Suzuki swing arm made it a bit of a barge.

Notice the dark hair and the porn star 'tash

I'm a newbie and always will be. You never know it all.
Video quality not to good but this always had my friend in hysterics, strangely enough I didn't find it very amusing at the time but have giggled a few times since.

picture below shows the same bird a few minutes ago, shed just isn't big enough anymore:rolleyes:

Enough to Survive
The twisted twin, aka the plastic maggot!

I can understand the origin of the former nickname but not the latter.

Ian
I think the plastic maggot name was down to the plastic nacelle used to enclose the headlamp and speedo, etc....no manufactures had done this since the early 60’s and this was the late 70’s.

They originally ate cam chains too until Honda issued a recall.

The original engine is on the floor underneath cam chain went couldn’t afford to rebuild at the time but found a newer engine from a wrecked one in a breakers yard.

I remember the joke at the time:

Knock knock

Who's there?

Honda CX 500

Wasn't particularly funny then either 🙂
