Hi all my name is Rod having now retired after years of flying abroad for holidays ,we have decided that the time is right to see all of this beautiful country of ours and a motor home is the way to do it .
However being complete motor home novices we need to learn from the experienced , we have seen one we like the look of at a dealers not far from our Suffolk home Simsons motor homes at Great Yarmouth has any one got reviews on them good or bad we'd like to know. Thanks hopefully in anticipation

I'm sure somewhere on this site there's a review if dealers page, just not sure where.
One thing I can recommend is Jim's e-book on things to look for when viewing Motorhomes. Click on Jim's Shop.
And :welcomesign:to Fun. Good luck with your planned purchase.

We bought our van (in the avatar) from Simpsons and would happily recommend them.
Good communication, well presented vehicles and nothing was too much trouble.
If it's the right van for you - go for it (y)

Welcome! You might also want to consider what sort of MH you want. Many would think that is more important than who you buy it off.
How you intend to use it and where are factors worth considering. Folk on here can give you their thoughts if you want to share your plans. :)

Hi all thanks for your prompt replies no one seems to have anything bad to say about Simsons, just wanted hear as I have heard a few horror stories that people have with some dealers , just in the process of making sure what layout we want at the moment but simsons have got one that looks good to us will check it out.

Took lots of advice from here when purchasing recent MH
2 things that really helped were:
1. Layout......make sure you know if its lounge space, bed type, garage space etc. that's important
2. Sit on the loo........you'd be amazed how many look spacious until you realise your knees have to be outside the door to use it! (tall hubby)
Enjoy searching and good luck, you'll never look back.
