I am saddened that the great British media cannot acknowledge the new world champion, as I have not seen a headline anywhere. Maybe its because he is French.

As much as I live bike racing, it's still a minority sport.

Maybe not click on a title called Moto GP world champion then, unless you just wanted a moan
In his defence, once you see the title, you can guess the content.

Sadly the normal press will never acknowledge any form of bike racing. They think you just get on and ride. Those of us in the know, appreciate the physical and mental strength needed to ride on the edge for every corner of every lap. True athletes.

That’s the point Yorick is making! If you follow the sport, the OP’s title tells you exactly who became World Champion. By the time you’ve read the title, the game’s been given away - no clicking is necessary.

I am sad to say l agree buy l did enjoy the ride from his 125 days to what he achieved but he did pass his sell by date.
The Yamaha bike has been a bit Marmite for a few years now, ask Maverick and Lorenzo. He's now on the customer bike. Without giving too much away Rossi was the 2nd Yamaha home of four finishers and finished 10th. I'd have settled for that!
