No Francis Barnett team then  You are right without Marquez ( Mark) everyone else has had a go at winning! Is it 9 different winners now? And as for Sam Lowes ( or is it Alex who knows?) will someone teach him to count, a steady 2nd would have been just fine, I appreciate they are racers but occasionally common sense should prevail he might have just thrown away his chance of winning the championship.

Believe it or not, Royal Enfield have a link to MotoGP - Harris Brothers have had a long association with MotoGP and designed the chassis for my Enfield. Their company is now owned by Enfield (I know way too much useless information 🙂)

Agree with you about Sam, but when it comes to counting, it always makes me laugh when commentators talk about struggling to do the Maths for championship standings - it's not Maths it's simple arithmetic that most junior school kids could do 🙂

Watched it all - including red bull rookies. More next weekend 😃
Gerloff did good. Shame about McPhee.

Maybe a spare seat now......Cal Crutchlow? Andrea Dovizioso?

Maybe Dorna will influence a UK rider to maintain the global appeal as there’s already plenty of Italians in the series?

Having watched how well Garret Gerloff performed, maybe it's time for some new blood? Not sure who is still available....

Although, obviously, I would like to see more Brits in all classes.... I don't think Aprilia is the team to take newcomers forward (Lowes would probably agree with me and Redding wasn't a happy bunny there)

Lorenzo’s in the mix now isn’t he, first as test rider now possibly racing. As much as I support Cal I can’t imagine Aprilia choosing him over Dovi and Lorenzo.

Barring a rethink by Dovi or change of heart....it’s either Jorge or Cal.

I can’t imagine Lorenzo choosing Aprilia as a racing rider, if he did he’d be like a spoilt child and his teddy with the underperforming aprilia.

I reckon the VR46 bikes will only have Italians on board. Starting with his brother.
Luca Marini has officially secured the penultimate available seat on the 2021 MotoGP World Championship grid after he and Moto2 rival Enea Bastianini were formally confirmed with Esponsorama Avintia Ducati.

It is anticipated this deal will ultimately pave the way for VR46 Sky Racing Italia to assume Avintia’s MotoGP entry from 2022 when the next cycle of contracts begin. Indeed, Avintia boss Raul Romero hints it is has already begun to incorporate the VR46 set-up - thought to be one of the best-funded outside of MotoGP - for 2021.

Looks like Cal is going to Yamaha....as a test rider.

I know some people think he should be a crash test dummy for Alpinestars, but I think he’ll be missed in the paddock and it would leave a British void in the Motogp class 😢

or is it a smoke screen?
