A few Biscuits for his guide dog would be a nice gesture (y)
Geo was joking but can I add a plea never to feed a guide dog.

Their training is based on the blind "owner" being the only person who gives the dog food and only at set times. This encourages the dog to bond to the owner and also to ignore anything edible whilst working. Labradors are a breed that respond really well to this training which is why they are a very large percentage of the guide dogs pack.
Another thing Labradors specialise in is looking sad & hungry 24 hours a day. We have experienced people sneaking sandwiches to the dog when it is lying under train seats . When asked not to do so they said the dog looked hungry! Can I reassure everyone that the dogs are very regularly checked by vets and their diet adjusted to maintain a healthy weight.

As for commenting on the MOT inspector - no comment !!!! :-)

I don't think it matter how well you look after you're vehicle, it's always a relief when you get that magic yes on the stifficate. (y)

No I wasn't

I only suggested taking a few biscuits for the dog you went into feeding not me

I am hoping to get my Polish 'MOT' equivalent today.

I do not know what differences there are. Our very reliable commercial garage has been prepping it, e.g. changing over single rear fog and reversing lights left-right. He knows the MOT place well so we are hopeful.
