Good Afternoon,

Earlier my hopes were dashed when ATS in Coventry could only take a vehicle up to 6.8m. The Mohawk is 7.5m, they said "no, sorry".

Has anyone any light van/truck MOT location recommendations in the SE Birmingham/Solihull Area that can take a vehicle of this length and 4005kg gvw?

Thanks, my fall back is AEG in Stourbridge who are really good but it's also a 50mins trek, even worse in traffic.

I've booked The Motorhome Depot Workshop in Redditch for the service and MOT. I reckon it's a pretty quick run as opposed to Stourbridge traffic.

I also use The Motorhome Depot, the workshops used to be the council depot and can take large vehicles. Paul and his family run an excellent business. They use another garage for the actual mot.

Is that on the same industrial site? I suppose it doesn't really matter if the van is left in their care for the duration.

Try Whychway Garage in Wychbold. They have a pit, do MOT’s and can take 5.5 tonne vans. Well priced as well

Yes, they told me Whychway Garage when I needed an MOT for a 5 tonne van. That was a couple of years ago

My last mot was done by Matus at Beoley by TMD. They have a new sales centre on the Alcestrr Road A435 north of Junction 3. Went into the petrol station this morning by them, lined the diesel pump up and the lpg pump is perfectly lined up, rude not to fill up with gas at the same time.
