3 years of weekending with the odd month here and there.
Took Holly in for her MOT yesterday afternoon (a friend’s garage that specialises in commercials and Moho’s) she failed on having a seized front offside brake calliper and “destroyed” pad and disc. (I’d been smelling it for weeks but had no idea where it was coming from)
Picked her up this morning, calliper, pad and disc replaced and opposite pad and disc replaced for good measure.
No advisories!
MOT was £45 ( only mentioning because of discussion on here about MOT test costs).
All set for another year.

You were lucky that the heat generated didn't bu&&er up the bearing.
He said he can’t see anything but to be aware and listen for any “singing” coming from the wheel and if it needs it he has a 50 ton press to swap the bearings out.

Mines due 12th December, so thinking you get a months grace took it in yesterday and it passed no advisories, new test runs to 19th November 2018, no grace? Looking at Old Certificate it wasn’t due till 30th December so
I got 3 weeks grace last year but took it too early this year so have lost 6 weeks, bummer, Decembers a bad month for an MOT anyway!
