Now I like a nice drop of dark rum ,to many drops according to my wife and have quite a collection of the stuff but even I thought this bottle was a little over the top for my collection has anyone else seen anything more expensive ? This bottle was in a shop in Cité de Europe .

Not Rum, but Costco are doing a deal on a nice 70cl single Malt whisky, nice to keep in the van for a nightcap ;)

Short arms deep pockets!!?

Someone wanted to say thank you to me a few years ago and bought me a English Harbour 1981 special reserve rum. It was very nice, but still needed a dash of Coke (full fat) to make it eminently drinkable. Currently about £140 a bottle!

Most expensive rum I have ever seen? this one: https://www.masterofmalt.com/rum/black-tot/black-tot-40-year-old-rum/

I really doubt that it doesn't need Coke lol

Do you only fetch the cheap stuff in your collection when u come with us???

Barely on topic because it's not the most expensive & it's flavoured, I did enjoy this beverage at a local: -

It's Rockstar's pineapple grenade spiced rum. It did make the rounds expensive so maybe it does sneak in as On Topic
EDIT: Clarity

The Harewood Rum 'Dark' 1780, a snip at £8225 per bottle apparently.

Ha , a bit to expensive for my budget Buttons ,I am more of a captain morgans type of guy ?
When I was a young teenager I got terribly drunk on dark run and coke. All these year later the smell of rum still makes me reach... I did say terribly drunk.... ;):)

That is very kind of you to offer :giggler:
You quoting me just made me realised I did't finish my sentence. Should have read
"That, I would love to try if you provide both and make it for me" :D:D Office, reception room or exhibition trailer - Not fussy me:ROFLMAO:

You bring the English Harbour Special Reserve 1981, and I will provide a free weekend on the Campsite and the Hot Chocolate to go with it
