Here in Roquetas de mar and counting all the mozziebites I've collected in a couple of days. Most of the time the hits are not felt until later in the day and early evening!
Been using the cold can of Beer trick to ease the pain and itch but the side effect is a whopper of a headache the next morning!

Any suggestions that would lead to relief and stop the blighters with the itch they leave you with.
Next desperate course of action is Red wine with me Corn Flakes.

Get some Fenistil from the nearest pharmacy. So much better than any sold in the Uk.

Swap the cold beer can for lemonade at least the headaches will be better

I use an afterbite pen, it works really well for me, the active ingredient is ammonia.

I find they sting quite a bit but it still starts to itch later.
I guess we're all different, it does sting initially but after that i'm okay, I think the thing with it is to apply it as quickly as possible after you've been bitten. There maybe better treatments but i haven't been bitten enough to need to find them, my pen is years old but still works for me.

Treat inside and out
Anti-histamines tablets
Cream on bite.
Based on Internet suggestion I have also tried back of hot spoon on the bite hot as you can without burning.
Does take itching away for a while but try to avoid a painful blister instead of itch.!!?

Carpmart what was that clicker thing you had? Thought it was very effective.

Years and years ago we went to Scotland touring with a tent I went swimming in a sea loch beautiful clear water swam back laid on towel on sand and this horrible black cloud descended on me ran to water but to late head to toe bites only where my budgie smugglers were was clear of bites and only treatment then calamine lotion was using 2 bottles a day. Never been back

"Amoniaco" floor cleaner .unperfumed is best . Ideal for all types of bite relief including jellyfish.
As name suggests active ingredient is ammonia. less than a euro/litre.

as above you can also refil your afterbite pen along with the McKenzies smelling salts that they no longer sell in uk due to the ammonia that was in it.

We use germaline or after bite ( latter doesn't work always for me alas) bur whilst in Sweden there was a solution much like rubbing alcohol that was used for bites including ticks ..found that excellent..starts with a S...solumbran or similar lol .not at the van at present but can post later when back ....hope they heal quickly ...b12 or marmite has been posted to help immunity

I used to go to the Greek Islands a lot, and got bitten half to death! Great egg-shaped lumps all over the place which itched like mad and wept! Eventually the penny dropped and about a week before I was due to go I started on anti-histamine tablets ... never got bothered again! The b******s seem to have gone off me now, thank goodness.

I did try to get an ice-cube on them asap, which helped a little.

When you have stirred your tea, press the back of the hot spoon onto the bite and leave it on for a few seconds.

More expensive than the hot tea spoon - but easier if out & about - a heat pen

Amazon product ASIN B07Q5C21Z1
Definitely reduced my reaction to the little buggers. I have 3 Michelin stars in the Mozzie Fine Dining guide.........

Next year we are going to do Scotland in March.
Anything begins with M loves me, sadly not Marilyn Monroe.
They simply ruin my holiday enjoyment.

This is cheap and really good stuff

Zap-it Mosquito Bite clicker works for me, and I am paranoid about mosquito bites (medical reasons, not me being excessive).

Reduces the itching, the swelling goes sooner, and the urge to scratch goes. The instructions say a couple of clicks at 90 degrees around the bite, but I pepper the sod.

My wife gets some cheap natural odourless shampoo gel and then adds Citronella essence...... we both use this for showering and ( touch wood ) have been bite free for some time !!
