Well I am doing a study on country dances . Morris dancing come up in the seminar. Very interesting subject. It's a form of choreographed dance, thought to originate from the Moors ie Moorish Dance.
The Moors as you know, controlled much of southern Europe between the 8th and 15th century.
Why do you ask?
Are you planning to take it up?
Thanks beekeeper I'll look at that tonight IDE like to understand it.If you need an excuse to go to the pub morris dancing probably works.
