After trawling the internet and all sorts of different answers coming back ive decided to ask the worldly wise motorhomers on here or even better someone who has actually done it recently! I would like to know the situation as regards returning from Morocco to Spain with my little Jack Russell dog, he has his full up to date rabies jabs, he also has his full up to date pet password as well as his micro chip etc..
From what i have gleaned so far its no problem bringing him into Morocco and travelling around. But the grey areas appear in coming back to UK via mainland Spain or indeed anywhere else in Europe..
Hoping to hear back from someone who has actually did this and preferably recently. Thanks in advance...? CaptainPaul.

Hi.
Having read a lot of posts on here about this,i have not heard of anyone falling foul when coming back. However, its not for me,it seems as if its like speeding, some people are going to get caught. 6 months without your best mate ?

What do you mean get caught? We're planning on doing this at some point but i thought it was all above board as long as you comply with jabs etc.

To be scrupulously honest I'm not entirely clear what the regulations are - but all I can say is we've done it 3 times with our Westie with no problems, in fact the last time the police were playing with him whilst we waited for their vehicle scanner to be repaired! Similarly we've never been stopped returning to Spain and have not heard of anybody having experienced problems.

You appear to have all the correct paperwork so don't worry about it. There may be changes after B----t but it looks probable that it will be no more than a Certificate of Health from a vet up to 28 days before travelling to the EU.

If you're not already doing so, follow the "Morocco 2020" thread where any updates will get posted. If you need any further help see my article in Resources.

Hi.
I dont think Morrocco is included in the list of places covered by the DEFRA ? Whoevers rules/conditions. But i await replies from better informed people, learn something new and the day is not wasted. We are "Dog less" at the moment so stopped looking at the conditions of the movement of animals among the EU/wherever.

PS/. I believe you can take your dog on T.A.P airlines, but where to ?
