Had a lovely one night stop at Mina De Sao Domino's yesterday. Temperatures in the mid to high 30's yesterday and I kid you not our Milenco levelers melted on the sunny side, letter of compliant to go to Milenco shortly.

It's a stunning Aire, Mena and I love it there. It's worth watching the film in the museum, although in Portuguese you can get the drift of it.
I take it you have found the free showers in the town ? (not that I am suggesting your a minger!).

It is a lovely aire, cannot believe it was free! We didn't venture into the town as we were baked to a crisp after spending a couple of hours out on the boats. We had a cooling swim after, might do you the water was warm! Our weather station still registered 30c at 10pm last night!!

On our way to our favourite Gem for a couple of nights now - Póvoa e Meadas.

When we looked to stop there it had a load of German hippy vans parked at that spot, they were making a lot of noise plus their kids and dogs were roaming about making a right mess.

Wouldya believe it, the world is getting smaller!
met another funster couple today at Lake Annecy, parked up next to them Pete and Jane aka "P&J"
Funsters are like buses, don't see one for months then two come along at same time :)

Wonderful beach but a bit of a scorcher so hiding in the van for a bit.

Looks like Carrapateira? The northern car park? We stayed at the Southern car park a few years ago where all the surfers go.

It is lovely there Jon, but just remember to park and not camp as the police have a regular sweep up around there.

Also if you like a nice steak try the restaurant in the village, the first one you come just outside of the carpark. Their Tbone steaks are fab and the house jugs of vino tinto are to be recommeded too. I swear ours was magic as it never became empty!! Hic!

Thanks @Armytwowheels

We saw the post on CC and wondered.

Do you know how do the police enforce it? Theres quite a few here and no signs, didnt see any `area' signs on the way in either.

Cheers
Jon & Sue

If you like old Spanish villages and interesting countryside try Albarracin near Teruel

Or if you prefer coastal, Alcossebre, Peniscola, Benicarlo and then a nice mountainous route to Zaragoza via Morella
