At Pedro's to chill for a couple of days and catch up on washing etc, watch the Moto GP and a few beers/Wine, nice big room been added at the back with TV Toilets Shower.

Really glad about that - always felt guilty having to use their facilities, especially as the back door to the loo wasn't opened until 9:00 a.m.

Well the Portuguese weather has beaten us!! The forecast is still bleak till next week! Our last day here squelching around stocking up on wine and port tomorrow we will hit Spain and shoot across to Valencia, then meander up to the south of France for the next few weeks,

Got as far as Armacao de Pera. Superb spot on the beach.
Went to the stadium at Albufeira but a long way out and not a patch on here!

Indian for tea tonight later. Looks plenty to do here, and beach day tomorrow if it's like it has been today.

Cheers for the reminder. I had this on 'the list'. Been looking forward to black pork and will do this one. Only prob is, we have to do Casa ze Leiteiro here for fish and a cycle to A Casa do Avo in Vale de Parra as well. We may be here a couple of days!

Found a great little free camping spot on our way through Spain, right on the beach and only the Spanish seem to know about it yet. The guy who owns the land is a motorhomer and is happy for vans to stay 48 hrs.

Ok been a while but have travelled across Spain up along the coast into France now in the High Alps at Pont du Fosse, weather not great but sunny today, think I've got trench foot with all this rain we been having!!
Will be meandering up thru Alsace in a few days have to be back by the 21st to vote in the referendum!!
Met another Funster today on site "microchip" Keith and his good lady.

We are a bit behind you at Armacao de Pera at the moment but heading the same way. I will watch for posts with interest.

We did Porto for the first time last week. Will be going back!
Impressive town and architecture. Cable car ride over the old port houses.
Easy walk in from the riverside aire, in the shadow of the "haunted house" N41.14333° W8.63247°
