Hi all we've just received this from the British Embassy.
Dear Martin,
Over the past few weeks we have been liaising closely with the French Embassy which in turn has been coordinating with the GNV ferry company to arrange for the transport of British and European nationals to Sete.
We were very disappointed to hear today that GNV had not made adequate arrangements to allow for the transport of British travellers on 12 May despite repeated requests to do so. We therefore regret that it hasn’t been possible to secure you a place on the 12 May ferry. We do understand this will be very frustrating for all concerned.
We have started work to ensure you are booked onto a ferry on 19 May. In preparation for this and to minimise the travel time to Tangier Med port we need to facilitate your movement north from your current location. We are making the necessary arrangements with the Moroccan authorities and will be in touch with a further update as soon as we have it.
