Lady Faith in her heyday, outrunning an avalanche of dry sand you can just see in the top left hand corner. There was lumps of driftwood and flying sand in the picture, until No.1 son Photo Shopped it out.

Miss her every moment of every day, and indeed, at times, still find myself talking to her.

Oh, if you insist. This is Daisy, we found her at a rescue five years ago so can only guess her age. At the time she was a skeleton walking with a skin sprayed on. Now, not so skinny . . . this is a couple of years ago at Rannerdale.

Turned my back for a few minutes and Laika the wonder dog decided to have a mud bath. We walked home from here which took 4 hours and guess who had a bath when we got home.

One of our border collies likes to dress up using the living room curtains, she does this with no prompting. She seems to get amusement from peoples reactions. She particularly likes doing this when strangers are in the house & they always laugh.
