Mopeka update rate

Hi, how do you change the update rate on a basic Mopeka lpg tank sensor ?
I've tried holding the sync button for 5 seconds but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The update rate in the additional information bit still remains at 3.5 seconds.

In .the Mopeka details I have it says - For standard sensors , press and hold the sync button on the sensor to toggle between 2 update rate options, The update rate displayed in the app will change when toggled.

Tried it , but nothing happens . The displayed rate stays the same whatever I try

The more often it updates the shorter the battery life.

Ah, thanks. I changed the battery on mine last weekend. It had lasted 18 months.

Mine changed with the sync button. Hold down 2-3sec and rate changed in the app. Have the phone close to the mopeka.

Tried that doesn't want to work on mine ?

I would forget device in Bluetooth list, then re pair. Failing that, delete the app and start fresh.

Tried all the above. No difference.

Is your sync. button on your sensor black or green , it seems that the black button ones may not have the change of refresh time feature.

Have you tried Gas It who sell the Mopeka items (01286 832443) perhaps they may be able to help.
