My Mopeka Bluetooth gauge for gas seems to have issues again today. Fairly random message from texting me twice to say it was empty, to miraculously managing to fill up to 100%, with no money changing hands. Eventually settled down to a figure of 64%, which could be believable.
Today cannot even find my sensor but cannot seem to log on to the app either. That could be the problem of course.
If I was rating, it would be two star for reliability.

Mine went to unreliable mode last year. A new battery has made it perfectly well behaved again. When it was off the tank for battery change I cleaned up the contact area and added a duct tape bandage to hold it in place. Google the web page for battery spec CR 2032 and how to open the thing it’s easy but not obvious.

Installed in December and onto a new battery already, which has still been problematic.

They are fussy about bottom cleanliness.

Mine went daft yesterday as well....kept saying no devices added/detected. Changed battery, deleted and reinstalled app, left battery out etc etc. Added some fresh grease onto magnets and after a while it seems to have come back to life!

That sounds like the app is having problems. Haven’t tried to do anything with it. Battery must be fine, but I might try moving the sensor again.
