We left Cardiff on Monday afternoon as le petite chien had an appoitment with a qwack, so night stops at Newbury and Rye we had a completely uneventful tunnel crossing in fact we slept undwr the channel. Then headed south west till we made a pit stop at Le Mans () well a lovely little village just west called La Suze sur Sarthe, the aire (camp site) was on the banks of the river and our evening meal was a masquerade stroll across le pont.
We woke to blue skies and after 3 days being cooped up Dylan was doing flikflaks around the site.
I've been in a teeshirt all day which means it ain't cold anymore! and we've found ourselves a little spot in a forest with sand dunes between us and the breakers we can hear now.
The last few weeks have been busy, the last few day intense, now we're going to relax and unwind.
Here's to wishing you all a very brief but Merry Christmas and a 2021 that puts 2020 in the past xx
