Montrose Music Festival

Hi All
Not long back from Montrose Music Festival, 6 days with the CCC at £5.00 a night just basic field facilities. Use of toilet and shower facilities. Saturday and Sunday all kinds of music in the town which was within walking distance. Really enjoyed ourselves, weather was not too bad. Looking forward to next year to return. Best of all "nethernut" (Jan) came over and introduced herself to us after seeing our Motorhome Fun sticker in the back window of our motorhome.

Hoping to see more funsters at Falkirk Wheel.

Whoohoo, that's a first for Montrose !! The Mrs Moo comes from Montrose, even she says that she can't remember anyone saying they enjoyed themselves there. Good golf course !

Glad you found it good though.

PS There is a good music festival in Newcastleton in the borders.

 

[Nethernut]

Hi Sam & Viv, lovely to meet you. We really enjoyed Mofest, some superb music and all for free! Highlights for us were Saturday afternoon at the Vaults listing to A Right Couple of Charlie's, those guys had the place rocking, superb music and songs, then on Sunday Sorelia at the pub on the edge of town (can't for the life of me remember the name!!). Another thing that we found impressive was how dog friendly the event was, we had our Border wi us all the time during the day and it was never a problem, in fact most places gave the dogs water before they served you!! Our first year there and will certainly be back there next year. Well done to the organisers.
