Well that didn’t last long did it?

Times today

“Passengers return to P&O ferry where staff were fired“

”I’d rather not have travelled with them (anonymous) but it is so expensive to fly with children and all their gear. Going by ferry is cheaper and less stressful. Not that I don’t think they treated their staff disgracefully“

Hi.
Never say never. If you are to choosy in life, you can miss out on a lot of things. " Super dad quote "

Most of the people travelling on that ferry probably booked weeks or months ago and if the service operated and they chose not to travel in protest they would have lost their money.

Also there is no competition on that route, unlike Dover-Calais with two alternative companies.

Simple fact is there’s too many hypocrites with short memories. Companies know that and realise all they have to do is sit tight and it will blow over.

They don't need holiday travellers.
If they aren't full of cars they have a lot more room for trucks.
Logistics companies won't give a toss how P&O treat the ferry staff.
