Moho window stuck open! (1 Viewer)

Hi
We can’t close our side big window.
Normally we open it further and it releases but it’s not! Any ideas?

Can you not unscrew the struts for now?

Sounds like a strut has jammed, why can't you remove the strut this time?
Worse case you could cut the struts off with a small hacksaw or bolt cutters.

Had that happen to me once, had to unscrew the stays then give them a good spray with a ptfe based lubricant, working them over some old newspaper to flush the dust and dirt out of them.

Many caravan accessory shops sell replacements.

Try just pushing it up on one side as sometimes the twist will release the stay?

Try from outside holding the window up and wiggling the stays until they release.

Thanks, we pushed the thin end of a paint brush in the other end and it released.
