we have just got a new mobility scooter for her in doors the wee man wants me to convert it in to a go cart.
Race car think i am up for that would be interesting to know if any one has done this.
our plan is to remove the seat so he end up in a bucket seat on the chases.
extending the chases to give it a longer probably by about 1M
obviously being a tight ares it will be reclamed materials
dont know how long it will take but think it will be fun for me and the wee-man
any oe want to follow me down this road and build one for your grand kids then we culd have a race meet
formula fun mobility

Getting Better
If you keep the electrics as they are you'll looking at 4-8mph, I suppose if your low down on the chassis it will seem faster but jay may feel the need for speed..! :)

Go for it, mobility scooters are reasonably cheap on auction sites like Ebay. We sold one a number of years ago & despite the scooter being like new, we only got 70 quid or so for it. Any cheap for of scooter like that would be ideal for kids as long as its in a safe area.

That should be good fun have a look on you tube some real good ones on there 500cc would be a good start:):):):)
500cc lots of safety issues and it would start to become expensive this would be box cart racing with electric motors
might even become a sport
the motor home fun world champion ships
